Broker Andrew Bond at Fraser has listed the 246-foot Feadship Arrow for sale—the first time the yacht is being offered on the brokerage market since it launched in 2020.

Arrow was available for limited visits at the Palm Beach International Boat Show in late March.

H2 Design did the yacht’s interior, which includes six staterooms for 12 guests. The owner’s stateroom is a suite setup with an en suite head, his-and-hers dressing rooms and an office.

Guest amenities include a sundeck with a gymnasium, a hot tub, a barbecue and a pizza oven. The sky lounge has a bar and alfresco dining for 12 guests. The main salon has a cinema, and the lower deck includes a beach club with two foldout balconies, a scuba shop, and a massage and sauna area. A glass elevator provides access to the bridge, main and lower decks.

Arrow is simply the best in class for this size yacht,” Fraser sales broker Andrew Bond stated in a press release. “She has been built by an excellent team for a very experienced yachtsman with every level of detail considered. Her breathtaking beach club and exterior spaces allow for exquisite indoor-outdoor living.”

What’s the asking price for the Feadship Arrow? It’s about $150.2 million.

The head-turning, gold-hull, 162-foot Palmer Johnson Khalilah has joined the Fraser charter fleet.

There are still dates available for late-season charters in France and Italy, with a crew of nine on board. Accommodations are for as many as 11 guests in five staterooms.

Khalilah is one of the most original-looking yachts on the charter market. In addition to its gold exterior, the yacht has what Fraser calls a “cool, funky, fun interior.”

Recent upgrades to the 2015 build include the addition of zero-speed stabilizers and a newly enlarged swim platform.

The lowest weekly base rate to book Khalilah is about $252,750.

What is Khalilah’s top speed? It’s about 25 knots, which also turns heads for a yacht this size.

Hakvoort in the Netherlands has launched the 209-foot Scout, a steel and aluminum explorer design that is the yard’s largest superyacht to date.

H2 Yacht Design in Britain handled the project’s design, while Diana Yacht Design did the naval architecture. Scout started out being built under a different owner and with a different name; Stuart Larsen and Josh Gulbranson of Fraser organized the new owner’s project team.

Scout was built in the Hakvoort shed in Monnickendam, North Holland, and moved to Amsterdam, where work will be completed on her mast, crow’s nest, radars, stabilizers and propellers.

“The owner’s brief called for a rugged, explorer-style yacht intended to look like a conversion from a commercial vessel,” Jonny Horsfeld at H2 Yacht Design stated in a press release. “We gave her crisp, distinctive lines and integrated, forward-sloping windows. We placed the tenders on the bow, leaving them exposed to add to the utilitarian aesthetic. There is a helideck and a forward observation lounge, in addition to an expansive sundeck.”

What else do we know about Scout? Twin Caterpillar 3512C diesels are expected to provide a cruising speed of 12.5 knots and a top-end of 14.8 knots. Range should be 4,800 nautical miles at 12 knots, and the hull will be ice-classed, allowing the eight guests on board to explore almost anywhere.

The Big Drink https://www.yachtingmagazine.com/big-drink/ Mon, 04 Sep 2017 17:09:47 +0000 https://www.yachtingmagazine.com/?p=56933 Fraser and Y.CO launch initiatives aimed at stopping the presence of plastic in the oceans.

Plastic pollution in the oceans is a hot point of discussion and distress, especially in destinations where yachts regularly arrive with cases of bottled water, but there are no recycling facilities.

Fraser took a step this past June to address that issue, partnering with CanO Water and encouraging all of its managed yachts to use the company’s resealable aluminum cans.

And Fraser is not alone. Y.CO has partnered with S’well, which makes reusable water bottles branded with a yacht’s name. Y.CO also just launched its Clearwater Initiative, which includes screening the film Plastic Oceans aboard its managed yachts to raise awareness.

Trying to expand the concept, Y.CO is also launching a public Clearwater page on Facebook, where everyone can share green ideas and tips.

“We don’t have all the answers,” says Hattie Campbell, who handles brand partnerships for Y.CO, “but we’ll have the community set up where people can share answers, and it will be a really great flow of information and ideas.”

Fraser is partnering with Porsche to have a fleet of luxury cars available to clients at the Monaco Yacht Show and Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, and in the South Florida area from November through February.

The Porsche Ultimate service will give Fraser private and charter clients access to the latest Porsche 911 GT3, which can be delivered to any location (including a marina).

Porsche also offers experiences including driving on the 24 Heures du Mans racetrack and driving a Porsche 918 Spyder on the Circuit Paul Ricard.

“A Porsche is more than just a vehicle; it is an expression of freedom and a unique attitude to life, just like a yacht is more than just a boat,” Fraser CEO Raphael Sauleau stated in a press release. “Our two brands are very well matched, and now being able to offer our clients access to brand-new Porsche models wherever they are on the Cote d’Azur, as well as incredible driving experiences, contributes to the lifestyle offering that we provide to our clients both in Europe and later this year in America.”

Also happening at Fraser: The company just welcomed the 90-foot Nautor’s Swan Alix to its charter fleet in the West Mediterranean.
